Was very excited after reading reviews, tried them out at the beginning of summer, there weren’t many bugs so we had to wait a while for our first kill but once there was blood in the water this little bug light went full attack mode and slaughtered hundreds of pesky mosquitoes, gnats, flies and moths. I bring it camping with me in the ADK and it works great.i’m buying 2 more.

Not sure if you can see from the picture, but I finally got that pesky fly that wouldn’t go away. After I got the zapper, I left the UV LED light on and left the room. A few mins later I hear “POP…POP…POP POP…”. Not only was the fly dead, he was stuck inside the UV LED light, and he kept getting zapped over and over LOL. Aside from that, the lantern LED is very bright , and has 4 modes: low, medium, high, and a blinking light. It has a sturdy hook so you can hang it where ever you need to. And best of all it has a rechargeable battery, which saves you $. Other zapper brands I’ve also had success with and recommend: HousingFirst, ERAVSOW, and PIC Corporation.

Arrived yesterday; charged it and set it outside for about 20 minutes to see what it would catch. Nothing, at first. Decided I would sit outside and mosquitoes came — for ME! Ran me back in the house! But the light was only outside a short time so I decided to give it a chance and leave it out overnight; figured the light would attract more in the dark. But I experience mosquito problems just before dusk and at dawn (they’re not so active in the dark) so I was beginning to feel concern it won’t work when I most need it, and for the purpose I need it because when I left it out overnight, it caught bugs by morning, but I can’t say I saw many — if any mosquitoes (several small moths, mostly). It had been out there for approximately 10 hours; the ultraviolet light was faint by daylight.Today, I charged it up for about 9 hours and set it outside again, just before dusk. Wanna see if it will attract MOSQUITOES. If not, the LED lantern seems to work fine; may end up being all it’s good for (emergency/camping light). Will update.

This is a great item for camping. I used to camp a lot and wished that it had been available then. I bought it to try for a small area of my house. I will say that the battery is good but it does require recharging every day. It takes awhile to do, so make sure you start it early in the day. I may be missing something about cleaning it. Shake it and blow on it gets most of the night critters off. If you are a light sleeper, the big zap noise when a large critter bights the dust might disturb you but just realize that it did not land on you, I would recommend this. If you have a power outlet available, just use the zapper and don’t worry about recharging. BTW. very light and great little hanging gizmo.

This little thing works, however…it attracts large bugs, to large to get zapped. Last weekend there was a dozen large bugs around it then flying at us, lol..so I had to turn it off.

I ordered five green but I got five blue ones. The picture on the box showed green, so perhaps some new graphics or better identification is needed to show what is actually in the box. I decided to keep them since they should work the same. The candle flys are drawn to them but mosquitoes, not so much. I really like the charging feature and options on the brightness of the light and flashing light feature at the end. This light could be used many different ways and it is very safe. Added bonus for this. Going to try hanging a little higher and hopefully mosquitoes will go in.

I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to enjoy my deck in the woods without being bothered by mosquitoes. Seriously considering grabbing a couple more. Easy to charge and clean.

I didnt expect this product to work as well as it does. We use it every night for camping trips. After one night the thing is full of bugs. Just take over to a nearby water spicket and rinse it out. Doesnt take long as long as theres some pressure to the water. Light feature and being rechargable are handy for non electric camping. We used this all season this year, about 20-30 nights of camping. Working like a champ still !

This zapper works perfectly. Two of them keep my patio 15’X20′ bug free, at a fraction of the size and cost of others. Portable and easy to use. Hold charge very well.I am ordering 2 more.

This little zapper is awesome! It has the 4 base light settings as well as the upper blue light which attracts the insects. The zapping ability is still actived when either or all the light is off. It has a loud pop sound, like a cap gun, when an insect comes in contact with the coils. My 3 yr old Yorkie is afraid of the noise so I recommend keeping it far from ALL small pets, their hearing is many times greater than humans, especially birds. I would not hesitate to buy multiple zappers. They’re much safer than insect repellent.

This actually works! Used it on a two week camping trip.

Nice and small

This actually works. I live on a sailboat & 2 of these zap mosquitoes & other bugs – even though it’s just a USB Device. Pretty sweet. They also feature a light with 3 different settings plus an SOS strobe. They’re great for me.

Works like a charm! Washable! Rechargeable! Oh and it freakin ZAPPS! the little buggers!loved it so much I bought another one!

This thing is small but a life saver. used it a couple of times camping and you wouldn’t imagine the amount of insect it zapped overnight.it is definitely coming with me everywhere i go. small, compact and doesn’t take much space.it was perfect for a small tent of 5 persons although for larger tents i would recomenned getting another one.

I purchased the bug zapper to zapp mosquitos from my backyard. I liked it so much I purchased another one. It’s very easy to clean just put it under running water. Ive been using both for almost 2 months and it does a good job of killing mosquitos. Very happy with my purchase.

Worked very well

Wow that’s so bright . We usually hang it in our tree in patio and it does it’s work.Kills all kid of fly and not just mosquitoes. Cleaning is so easy like rinsing in the water. Once charged it stays around 13 hours . I hate these fly buzzing around my ears and thank god no more bugs. It worked!! I’m super excited to keep using it!
